Erik Cortina/Jack Neary YouTube Livestream Q&A Tonight at 7PM CST

I checked it out a bit over a late breakfast. Nothing really new.
I was hoping for a little bit of Tack Driver type banter to get in
the mix maybe, and talk calibers......nada. Jack still downplays
annealing in his game I see......

Jack placed a lot of emphasis on practice, and putting a lot of time in doing just that in varying wind conditions. I can say with a high level of confidence that no one spends as much time shooting as Jack. He’s always practicing before and after the day’s events at matches, i.e., the last guy that leaves the range before they shut it down for the evening. That’s s why he has 22 HOF points!

Jack and 4 other Hall of Fame shooters had a informative panel discussion at the recent Short Range IBS Nationals in Callimus, NY.

None anneal. I believe the shooter in 2nd place in HOF points doesn't either.

Either these guys are missing the boat by not annealing, (busy work) just not open minded (ya right) or it's not necessary for SR Benchrest.

Maybe spend the money for practice consumables instead of a fancy machine and use the time annealing to practice? You'll need it to beat them.

I've tried it and saved a lot of prairie dog brass necks that were splitting.

Been shooting .0081 brass in competition for almost 25 years and never have had a split neck and resizing brass is not an issue with good dies.

FLAME AWAY

And do what makes you happy.

Later

Dave
