Bipods - which is your favorite?

Recently purchased an Accu-tac WB-5 for shooting prone and have been impressed. Its very solid but also when you look at the comparison chart it has a very good range of adjustment. Likely too wide for dedicated PRS bipod.

For PRS matches, I carry a Harris BRM-S as my primary and a Ckyepod Double with DOT rubber feet. My son uses an Atlas PSR BT46 as his primary. It all works, but there are just enough stages where I want rapid deploy and stow options that I keep the Harris handy instead of the Atlas. I could get by with just the Ckyepod, but I like the smaller footprint of the more "conventional" pods.

I have Accutac bipods, a WB4 and an HD50, for ELR, but they wouldn't be my choice for a PRS bipod.

For PRS rifle mounting, ARCA 100%.

For ARA 22 bench we just Love our Mystics from EGW in Pa.
If you get one go ahead and get the extra length legs
These bipods are Rock Steady--zero flex or movement
I don't think they would be too great for PRS as the legs are not quick deploy style but off a bench they can't be beat--I use one under my 6BR and 223--same excellent results

I like that design

I'm pretty sure I know what the new go-to bipod is going to be going forward. I had a chance to play with a prototype of the upcoming Ckyepod Double Pull Gen 3 this past weekend.

Phenomenal bipod with some cool new features that make it even better than the current model.

Hoping to see it out later this year.

I would stay away from Accu-Tac. I have had some issues with both of mine and CS is virtually non existent. Almost entirely shooting off concrete benches with BR and variants.

Lemme guess... $1200?

I have or had about everyone made. I agree 100% on arca for pms style shooting. I recently got a area 419 arca rail and clamp for the versatility. I would NOT use arca on a big gun. A bipod on a pic rail is never going to move.

Go to any PRS or NRL Hunter event, and 95% of the shooters are running Ckye pods for a reason. Sure, some of these other bipods will work.

Buy once, Cry once. Go buy a Ckye pod.
If your brain actual thinks what you said is factual and logical wow! Just proves everything I learned in marketing classes as my minor. Not that theproduct is in anyway not a quality product but as to your logic on why it is used by so many!

I do intend to check one out though since you think so highly of them. I can object to your logic or reasoning and still end up agreeing on the utility of a thing if I think it is deserved!

They start at $599 and go up to $999 so they must clearly be the best bipod....period.....full stop!

P.S. Wealthy women wear Prady shoes because they make the most comfortable, long lasting, and attractive shoes on the planet way better than anything Nick's makes for a fraction of the money custom to your foot! Obviously...It's logic!

Lol? Yes, my brain does think what I said is factual and logical. I've shot more PRS and NRL Hunter matches in the last year than most, and yes, I've seen more Ckye pods than all other bipods combined.

So, to clarify. Yes, what I am saying is both logical and factual.

It’s hard to fathom anything better than a ckye pod and yes pretty much everyone in PRS or NRL has one. In fact, a lot of guys carry two.

It’s definitely something I’d never buy, but they’re extremely popular.

Do keep in mind though, @mauser284 , not everyone that has one paid for it.

I’m still a huge Harris fan and bought an Atlas CAL a couple of weeks ago. If I need anything taller than that there’s a tripod. But, don’t doubt the CKYE pod. Overpriced? For sure. The best? Also for sure.
