MY ROAD TRIP TO MAIDENS, VA - ODCR

WOW !!! Went on a road trip well worth the ride yesterday with my shooting buddy SVT_Tactical to finally meet the best rifle builder in the country. This trip honestly made me realize that I should have been to see him long before now but since travel is not one of my favorite things to do anymore I had put it off. He has been building for me and some real close friends here locally for many years now and I've honestly lost count of how many but I have not lost count of how many that shoot lights out.
Easy number to remember which is ALL of them.

Actually, I had no clue of all that was in the works and that I was going to pick up this "special build" that he along with some other great friends had been working on for sometime. These guys are the BEST friends anyone could ever hope to have and I want to publically show my appreciation for all of their efforts. (WSMNUT) (SVT_Tactical) (Bc'z) (Hoodoo) all put special efforts into making this UNCLE BILL build a reality. THANK YOU ALL FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE. It does not go without my gratitude.

Zack sent me a pic of a recent build he was sending my way a couple weeks ago. In the back ground I saw the “Uncle Bill” rifle and he gave me the story. Doesn’t get any better than that, kudos to all involved. The act/gift speaks highly of the guys who donated components, time and talent and it went to a guy who is well deserving of it all!

You know what @WSMNUT standing instructions are, "paint it any color you want as long as its red!!!"

Yea I know its a poor excuse but I got burned out traveling with bands for a big part of my life and it wears me out to do it anymore. But as I said it was well worth the effort to finally see Zack and hang out with him and family. The whole event was an experience that I will remember as long as my one brain cell will function. LOL.

Targets coming soon Bro. Had to order a set of Talley Ring/Mounts to fit this bad boy. Should show up on Monday and plan to get it on the bench ASAP weather permitting. I think we are in the headlights of one of those huge puffs of wind out in the ocean and don't know when or if we might see some action from it.
