Where did the barrel wind up?A costly and dangerous mistake
The barrel was 6 feet in front of the benchWhere did the barrel wind up?
Yes this was a Savage 110 tactical in 6 arc--I ended up going to the emergency and had metal removed from my eye and forehead I loaded 28.5 of LiL Gun instead of 28.5 of Lever evolutionPlease provide more details. Was this your rifle? Were you the guy injured?
Here is a report of a similar kaboom caused by using the wrong Hodgdon powder.
NOTE: This is a DIFFERENT Rifle, different powders, different shooter... but it does show what can happen when the wrong powder is mistakenly used. The loader used TiteGroup pistol powder thinking it was Varget.

Well, I guess everyone that ever made a mistake driving and was involved in an accident should give up driving too...right? Mistakes happen, I have done some incredibly boneheaded things in my life, some that caused me injury but, I never once considered giving something up because of it. Some of us can learn from mistakes. It was honest!
