7mm PPC Improved?

Anyone here have any experience with this chambering? I just pulled the trigger on a XP100 chambered in it. Are dies available, or is this going to be strictly custom?

Yes I have one in a Wichita silhouette. The gun is very accurate. When I bought it, it came with a set of Redding dies. It’s a 3 die set. I’m using 150 gr ELD-x & 162gr ELD-X bullets. For powder I’m using IMR 4227, 15 gr on both bullets. I’m running 1475 fps. This is my unlimited gun for IHMSA. Brass is 220 Russian.

Idea / guess on barrel life?

At 1475 fps it should last a long time. I shoot 2 matches per month, for 6 months. Roughly 500 rounds per year. I’ve owned it for 6 years.
