Old Dominion Custom Rifles X2

Sorry for the Epistle here guys but these 3 guys deserve it!

Zack turned me on to Shannon Webb’s work here a few months ago and I spoke with Shannon and what a top notch guy! That’s about the time he was finishing up a beautiful stock for Tom E. Shannon is very responsive, humble and not to busy to talk to customers and share his journey, his work experience, and equipment capabilities that gives you confidence in his work. I plan on my next stock being a Shannon Webb and wish him the best of luck with his stock building business!

That compliment plays right into the guy that these stocks were built for #WSMNUT, what can I say about Zack that I haven’t said here before. To keep everyone from vomiting let me just say he’s top on my list for what it’s worth in every aspect, fellow man, gun builder, friend, dad, mentor, and not a bad competitor! One heck a good dude!

And Brett you’re just plain out the best at what you do and stand behind your work all the way and make things right at first delivery and when it ain’t right due to my fault you still make it right! That’s customer service with a smile!!

Building these pieces of art is so addictive! If i made more money I’d just keeping building guns every time I got one back because you always open my eyes to things I’d never think of on my own with your talents and the elements put on this earth by GOD for us all utilize to the best of our ability and be stewards of and my friend you do your part!

It’s a shame Shannon didn’t put that ODCR between the front rails underneath so we could at least catch a glimpse of that added bling once and while….

Way to go Shannon, Zack & Brett! BEAUTIFUL!!!
Wow what a compliment!! Can’t say thank you enough for your written thoughts. I am extremely pleased to be part of this build with these 2 heavy hitters. They are as you all know perfectionists in what they do!

Thanks
Shannon

Well you did provide an amazingly straigh and solid foundation in wich to build off of.
It's an absolute pleasure to finish your stocks.

Shannon did some Custom logos that I filled with epoxy and pearl to set them off.
Both Rifles will have 2" Stillman rudders.View attachment 1681501View attachment 1681502View attachment 1681503 I really like the way the lines flow on Shannon's designView attachment 1681504View attachment 1681505View attachment 1681506

Are you doing a flow coat or is that all wet sanded and buffed?

Your work near those edges is insane.

Are you using like a guitar style buffing wheel?
Thanks Bradley.
I use a 3" pneumatic polisher after blocking and sanding the polyester clear.
This is a polishing kit from Asto Pneumatic a0fa3ba1-972f-4f20-b147-71eef068c38b.jpg
I don't use thier pads as they don't wrap the edge of backer pad.
