Recently acquired a nice 700 ADL 222 and I was wanting recommendations on a nice stud set. I had used a Williams a long time ago on a 788 and didn’t know what of quality is available now.
Thank You.
Thank You.
That’s a great idea that I hadn’t taken time to consider and should have, thanks. I wonder if there are types of these with wood screws for rear and nut for front on wood stocks.I put QD sockets on all my rifles if at all possible. That way they're flush with the sling removed.
GrovTec makes a variety of QD sockets. They're frequently held in with epoxy or JB Weld after using a bit of the correct size to bore a hole. They call them Push Button Bases. That’s a great idea that I hadn’t taken time to consider and should have, thanks. Are you putting them on the rear bottom too?GrovTec QD push button here too....leaves a nice flush bottom for shooting off bags.
Yes, front and rear. Are you putting them on the rear bottom too?
I didn’t no if they would take up to much real estate on those factory 700 adl stocks.
Thanks!Yes, front and rear.
I've installed them on a couple Richards Microfit stocks. I don't recall having to modify the buttstock toe for fit.
Don't have a photo...sorry.
