Recently acquired a nice 700 ADL 222 and I was wanting recommendations on a nice stud set. I had used a Williams a long time ago on a 788 and didn’t know what of quality is available now.

That’s a great idea that I hadn’t taken time to consider and should have, thanks. I wonder if there are types of these with wood screws for rear and nut for front on wood stocks.

GrovTec makes a variety of QD sockets. They're frequently held in with epoxy or JB Weld after using a bit of the correct size to bore a hole. They call them Push Button Bases.

Are you putting them on the rear bottom too?
I didn’t no if they would take up to much real estate on those factory 700 adl stocks.
Yes, front and rear.
I've installed them on a couple Richards Microfit stocks. I don't recall having to modify the buttstock toe for fit.
