6.5 bullet(s) for 1 mile

Problem with the little solids is spotting, even 338 solids can be difficult compared to cup/core.
Very true, very true
They seem to drill right into granite don't they
Kind of have to have the right background
In the soft Nevada desert they're a little easier to spot the splash

Decent results with 140g ELDM shooting 6.5 Creedmoor
I Believe that a Few, Texas Plinking, 1000 yard Steel Challenge Matches, were WON with, THIS, Factory "Load".
Might want to Look Up, Courtney, shooting a T & S Customs, 6.5 Creed, in Season 3, Shooter # 3 or 4.
Several Shooters, have Used, "this" Factory Load, in their 6.5 creeds @ 1,000 yards w/ Good results.

I "should Be" shooting, the 140 or, 147 grain, ELD-M's, in my 6.5 Creed Rifle, but I really Like, the almost, NO Recoil from, the 130 gr "M's" and so Far, out to, 850 yards,.. NO Problems,.. w/ Accuracy !
After owning / Shooting, an Un-Braked, .338 Win Mag for a Decade, I'm kind of, a puszzy at this,..
"older stage" of, my Life.

The 130’s are nice in a 6.5.

When I did a lot of long range with my 260 the Hornandy 147 was my favorite but Berger 144 would be my choice now.

I Have NO "Need" of, spending, 40 to 50% More, on a Bullet to, "Plink Steel" to 1,000 yds and I Doubt that, I could Hear, the "Ting" of a 140+ grain, 6.5 Bullet much Past,. 1,000 yards, anyway.
Agree that, the 144 Hybrids are probably, the "Best" 6.5 creed bullet,.. But ELD-M's shoot, Plenty GOOD for Me.

The 130 grain, M's do, the Job at, 850 yds,.. just,. Fine !
And from, Time to Time there are, GOOD Sales ( @ 20% Off ) on them.

Actually a 130 and 140 hitting steel at a mile is usually easily heard.

In fact I heard every impact with my 22 arc shooting 80’s eldm’s past 1000 yesterday.

Yea, for general plinking he Hornandy prices are nice.
I shoot a lot of Hornandy seconds as well.

I Have, a Semi-Custom built, 6 XC that, I get, "Serious about" and I WILL, Spend, the Extra Dollars for, 108 gr. Berger Elites or, 107 gr. SMK Sierra's, as it has, a Med Heavy Barrel ( 10.5 lb, LV Rifle ) and HAS, awesome, "Cold Bore" Repeatability plus, it group's down into, the Low 2's, 5 shot, accuracy.
For some reason, the 7.75 pound, 6.5 Creed Tikka is, more Fun to, Shoot,.. but, IDK Why ?
Maybe because it's, a Light weight "Hunting Rifle",. w/ a bigger Bullet ??
Or is it just, a silly "Phase",.. I'm going thru.

I shot 147 till they started blowing up. I switched to 144 Bergers. But they were not handling 1 mile very well. A buddy got me to try 142 Sierras. They out shot the Bergers. I have stayed with the Sierra for several years now.
