6 PPC & 6 BR, what's next best?

Thanks for all the replies. The impetus for this question is an action I 'accidently' bought. LOL

A Borden Rimrock BR with Left bolt/Right port/Left eject. It came up on here and before I knew what happened, I had posted an "I'll take it."

I have a 6 PPC and a 6 BR and a 6 BR AI in the works and I am looking for something to do with this action.

if you already have a few 6mm's
do you yet have a 22BR? (no need for anything fancy in a 22BR such as an Ackley version, they're fast enough stock)

IMO,. It would be hard to beat, a 1-7.5 or 1-8 Twist barrel, w/ .104 FreeBore, in 6 XC Tubb Version One, launching,. 107 or 110 grain SMK's or, 108-109 gr. 6mm Bergers for, LR Accuracy, LOW Recoil and Lots of, FUN,.. on Steel.
Norma and Peterson Brass available + Forster Dies,..= Precision
Good Luck with, YOUR Choice

6XC gets my vote. Super accurate with a variety of bullets, efficient, long case and barrel life. I have built 8 of them and every one of them shot better than the average shooter is capable of. I got around 3000 rounds of accurate barrel life. I have 2 now, 1 with a 7 twist Krieger that shoots 115 gr in the .1;s and a 8 twist Shilen that shoots anything from 68 gr to 110gr in tiny bugholes. All have had Krieger or Shilen barrels.

For 6mm if you look at long range benchrest results, particularly at 1,000 yards, there are basically two to choose from, the Dasher and the 6BRA.

One of my cats in the works will be for short porch and using 52 gr
customs. If i were not having it in the works, I would do a 22ppc for
the better powder options for short porch BR. Think UBR. Mike Ezell
has a dandy done up but, I do not think it's on a ppc case. Maybe more
of a Grendle cat. Maybe he'll chime in.
