It is a standard Savage Magnum bolt face, .540 +/-

This would be a great action for building a 6.5 or 7 PRC or possibly a 7 SAUM. Not a target rifle but a dang fine hunting rifle. With a little shopping could probably assemble under 1000.00 easy.

Add a barrel for $600 and a stock and you're ready to go. I was planning on 1000yd rifle, but plans changed.

To make a decision easier for someone, I'll throw in the original sporter stock for $50 plus shipping. It has a couple minor dings, but otherwise in excellent condition. I'll post pics soon.
