Yeah , we have some of life’s changes to navigate. The elevation at the new place in the Bitteroot valley is actually 3200 whereas our current place in the cabinet mountains is only 2900 ft. I’m anticipating increased snowfall this coming winter.

Yeah those do have a way of up ending plans. I'd have thought you'd see lots more snow up north compared to the Bitterroot valley. But hey, at least you're closer to Deep Creek.
Yeah I’m 70 miles from Canada now, it can really snow when it wants to, the new place is 33 minutes to the range if I take blue mountain rd I’ll just have to see how much difference it is. At least I won’t be plowing a half mile driveway and going down a 2 mile icy hill just to get the main road. lol

Yeah ol Tom is just up the road about 35 miles in the Yaak, Paul is up Hwy 37 a ways and my grandson goes to school with Shaun’s son Hank.

Mark, being close to DC was definitly a box that needed to get checked off, plus the Bitteroot valley is beautiful and historic. I may take up some fly fishing as well.
Just wondering. Where in the USA are you for a 5000 mile trip?

im in IN. ive made the trip to OR/WA west coast quite a few times. i think its over 2000 miles. NY to portland OR is 2900 + miles. mabie i rounded off a little to

did the chicken come before the egg??
Well you can't have a chicken without 1st having an egg, I just can't figure where the damn egg came from without the chicken, dont get me stsrted on the rooster. Loldid the chicken come before the egg??

And if that's the case the egg had to produce a rooster to keep the cycle going.

there have been reports of some type of immaculate conception where the chicken appeared before the rooster or egg. i dont know how it works. Im just glad I live 10 miles from a 1K range or i would have to move to. And with that Ive gotta git outta here and go load some up so i can go there this afternoon.
