Cortina Precision FL Sizing Dies

I'm beginning to wonder that as other have also comment about compatibility. I am so close to ordering SAC modular die but hate to find that another expensive die doesn't fit. I spent +$330 so like to get this figured out. Thanks for responding.
If you’re willing to spend that much again, contact Neil Jones and ask him to make you a die. He quoted me somewhere in that price range to make a sizing die for PPC. His are not an off the shelf die. It’s made to fit your chamber based on your fired cartridges.

I ended up going with another custom die maker for my situation, but after owning a die made for my chamber I would not buy another off the shelf die for my precision rifles. You might get lucky and find one that fits your chamber perfect, or you might be like me and spend 2x more on off the shelf dies hoping to get one to fit than it would cost to buy a custom in the first place.

How did you "Polish the inside"? I have some brass with scoring on them from the shoulder to halfway down and wondering about that.
For the coating in the cortina die grey scotch bright then some 2000 grit.

I had a terribly finished Hornandy 22 arc die recently, rounded the chamfer with 400 then step up in grits as needed to get the finish I want.

Some of the prices that I see on dies makes my head hurt.
no kidding- i see these guys who think they need this expensive stuff and I know where they are coming from. i just laugh, If there is something that will really help me i dont mind paying for it. but i been doing this 50 years and i know alot of this stuff is just about getting the money from people who dont know any better or just gotta keep up with their buddies.- i guess like many things—-

From my experience. Scratches down the side of the case body were from not chamfering the neck o.d. Tiny pieces of brass break off and get dragged down the case. I had brass streaks adhering to the die

It sounds like the die may not be a good fit for your chamber.
Measure the case diameter before and after sizing at the case shoulder junction as well as the approx .200 line to know exactly how much case reduction the die is producing.

I've had this happen also. Usually with new brass. The time it takes to chamfer the OD is pretty minimal compared to polishing brass out of a fouled die.
