Gunsmith who has a 25-284 Blackjack reamer?

I have a .257 barrel 1-7.5. Want to build off a long 700. The throat design is different than a regular 25-284 reamer. Any suggestions for a smith to rebarrel?

Have you given any thought about Alex and his 25x6.5 PRC?
Use the search Function and read the thread about it, pretty impressive what Glen was doing with 133 for a hunting gun. Gets my vote anyway.

Yes I have.... Just have a good bit of 6.5284 Lapua brass and a 700 long action .473 bolt face on hand.

Alex's 25x6.5 prc he uses a LA.
Its just me but I wouldnt let me having the brass already sway my decisions its easy to sell the brass you have if its new and get ADG or Lapua 6.5 PRC, anyway just my thoughts good luck on your build.
I just saw your boltface is a .473 so that definitely matters.

Check with Zack at old dominion…I’m pretty sure his is a blackjack reamer. He built mine last year…very happy with it. @WSMNUT

I designed some of the blackjack reamers. Sierra made those bullets. You cant get them now but Sierra makes a heavy 25 which is probably the same bullet. Any smith can throat or your best bet is make a dummy round and send it to jgs.

I have one for sale. I have someone looking right now at it but he hasn't committed to it. It's a Manson live pilot 25-284 BJ reamer. Only cut one chamber. I'd like $220 for it.
