It is a "wildcat" - custom cartridge base on 300 WSM case.
On the picture left 300 WSM case - far right 7 BSM

antunRC.
Thank you
Bump back the neck/shoulder on a 300 WSM case.
Looks like the trim length is .040 or so shorter than the WSM.?
Long neck.
35 degree shoulder?
Looks like two steps to get to the finished BSM case
No fire forming.
A tad more capacity than a standard 7mm SAUM?.
What are you using for dies?
What does BSM stand for?

Dave, you can ask everything Bryan Blake @ F-class products, he is selling 7 BSM complete kits
I don't have 7BSM chamber, but from Bryan words it is 300 WSM Lapua brass, shoulder bumped back and formed to 40 degree, 75 grain h2O capacity.

I started down this road earlier in the year and went so far as to acquire the 300 WSM brass. When I contacted them in January/February, they were still waiting on something, reamers maybe, and expected the "kits" to be ready June(ish). I see antunRC's picture of the reamers, but nothing is listed on Blake's website yet, unless I missed it. I don't do Facebook, but I think he's posted pictures of load development.

Theoretically it’s the same as his 7FCP, just another way of arriving at the same case volume. Both 7mm with case capacities approximately the same as a 7 SAUM.
Given the similar capacities, I like this one much better. Long neck, a 40-degree shoulder and Lapua brass.

Question,.. IS the 7mm-.270 WSM,. STILL "Winning", 1,000 yd Comp's,.. in Canada and the UK ??
WHY fool with,.. "Success" ??
The 7 SAUM IS, Hard to Beat, too !

The 7 BSM uses a 300 WSM for a parent case, Lapua is best in our opinion. Take the WSM, run it in the 7 BSM FL die, and all forming is done in ONE pass. Originally we started with a bump back die, then the FL die, we now have changed some things internally to where ONLY the FL die is needed to form. All done in one push, nothing fancy. The brass comes out fully headspaced, full shoulder formed, match grade brass at new brass level. We have had most success with RL16, 4350H, 4831, 4831SC, N565. I will be doing a full write up soon and on our site. Full component kits on our site this month, so ahead of the June schedule, only for a limited supply.

Here is a single shot ladder at each charge for N565 for one example...492371228_10163378370713804_5676154039390688208_n.jpg
