PSA Wholesale Hunter

Recently, I made a purchase through Gunbroker from a company called Wholesale Hunter. It was a rifle chassis they claimed to have 6 of in stock. One week after purchase, I called to see why it hadn’t shipped. The guys exact words were “we’re 5 to 6 business days behind so it will ship today or tomorrow.” One week later I called again and the next guy to answer said, “I don’t know who told you that but we’re 10 days behind. It will definitely ship this week.” The next week after that since it still hadn’t shipped I called and canceled my order and asked for a refund. Now it has been two more weeks with no refund and I can’t get them to answer the phone at all. Going to turn it over to the credit card company for them to handle. All the reviews on them are either great or same a my experience. Buyers beware if you want to do business with these people!

That sucks. They used to be a great place to buy from, but my opinion is that GunBroker is a big reason for their downfall. Back in the early 2000s they were my "go-to" place for online buying of firearms, but once they started selling on GunBroker, it opened them up to significantly more business and from what I have seen started them down the path of "selling" what their distributors had in stock, rather than what they had. Essentially making them a broker, rather than a seller. It really is too bad.

I simply don't use G.B. for any reason. I used wholesale hunter once, after three weeks of B.S. from them of their even having the "in stock" rifle I had ordered and payed for I stopped the order and was charged $50 for doing so.
This was even though they never had the rifle to begin with. They are without doubt one of the most dishonest places you can deal with. Good luck.

I had a similar situation 2 years ago! Ordered a new shotgun supposedly in stock, when I called because it hadn’t shipped, I got a run around! The guy said not sure when they will get another shipment! In the mean time they had all the funds until the next shipment arrived! I told the guy that’s BS and I wanted a refund. I had to send them 2 more emails until they finally processed my refund!
Anytime I see them advertising anything I pass them by. They are just bad news and I don’t know why gunbroker doesn’t remove them from their website.

Because GunBroker is in business to make a profit. It has become a place for the unscrupulous and dealers in 'junk'.

Not all sellers on GB are like that, but watch out for those who are! It's not just smaller shops and individuals who would like to liquidate a few things. Bigger or wanna-be bigger outfits list there now, too. Face it, it's like much of the world today, some give chit, some don't............

I have to believe a lot of sellers on gun broker are just ffls with no physical inventory. They just order and drop ship firearms as they are ordered. Having any physical inventory would cost money. Do your research.
