Just got doctor clearance to shoot and Al is letting me shoot tomorrow. I will try tomorrow and hoping Bob or someone else picks up on this today.

Eventually the results from Sunday's shooting day at the Florida Freedom Championship will be posted. I participated and noticed one shooters' response to the hideous mirage during the shoot. This was a mirage that makes Manatee infamous... so bad at times you cannot see your hits on the sighter plate and struggle to see the target. Well, take a close look at Larry Tolksdorf's response to the mirage.



He found a good moment where he could see the target during the first round of a section after finishing.
so Larry set up his gun on the next target and waited. Before the next target round started he had screwed his scope caps on the rifle. When the range got "hot" he sat there and quickly fired off 5 shots... "BLIND".

Alex Wheeler measured the target at 1.8". That was better than most of us shot all day.

Hello shooting family,

What a great shoot this weekend, it was hot but we had a good time.

Thank you all that were able to come to shoot with us, we appreciate it. Thank you to all that help set up and clean up afterwards.

I want to thank Ms. Denise for the food, the ribs and chicken were delicious and those cheesecakes so good! Wish I had more now.

On Saturday, Ryan Fulcher won Light Gun Score, Logan Webb won Light Gun Group and Steve Bertran won Light Gun Overall. Al Benarroch won Heavy Gun Score and Heavy Gun Overall and Logan Webb won Heavy Gun Group. Michael Lowitz won Tactical Score, Ryan Fulcher won Tactical Group and Tactical Overall. Bob Longo won 2Gun Overall.

On Sunday, Steve Hoskins won Light Gun Score and Mark Niezabitowski won Light Gun Group and Light Gun Overall. Mike Lowitz won Heavy Gun Score, Logan Webb won Heavy Gun Group and Steve Hoskin won Heavy Gun Overall. Bill Davis won Tactical Score and Tactical Overall, Ryan Fulcher won Tactical Group. Mark Niezabitowski won 2Gun Overall.

Our 2 day 2 Gun Overall winner was Ryan Fulcher and he was also the winner for 2 day Tactical.
