I guess I just don’t understand. From 3 or 4 down to 1
I think the mausingfield is sexy action as well like the badger M2013
I really like my nucleus and ARC rings.

Makes me wonder also, I just got a Nucleus gen 2 this year and wouldn’t mind finding a Mausingfield or another Nucleus. The CDG I don’t know…

I've got 3 mausingfield, one Archimedes and two CDG actions. The CDG is heavier, in the application I'm using them for, thats a good thing. Supporting a heavy and long barrel, they're just a brute of an action in the Remington 700 footprint size category. The mausingfield is my favorite. Always will be. But I'd assume it was expensive to make, and with so many custom or new manufacturers actions to compete with it was an issue. The CDG really has some nice features. Operates so smooth. It's stupid strong with the bolt lugs located where they are instead of in front of the magazine well. Not that it probably matters. One example is when I put my 6.5x55 Swede barrel on a mausingfield it doesn't work, the Lapua brass is larger say .478 instead of the .473 for that bolt head on the mausingfield and it binds up. The nucleus, Archimedes, and CDG work fine as those bolts take the additional diameter, but I don't imagine to many people care about the Swede and mausingfield combination.
With so many custom actions available in today's market, it is very competitive arena. I think it is a race to the bottom, profit wise, and a few companies are not going to survive. I believe the writing is on the wall for the ARC. Sad to say, but today's world can be very brutal if you are not in a niche market.

Yeah.... but the Mausingfield was a very unique action... and expensive!

A few friends have the CDG action and generally they really like them.
I have a CDG in an off the shelf MPA in 6GT and am really impressed with it. It’s really smooth action with easier than expected bolt lift for 3 lug action. The only complaint I have is when taking the firing pin out to find the lands or setting up sizing die it’s a real pain to operate the bolt.

I do have a grendle bolt for it however.
Why?
If it’s a cross pin to secure the bolt head like my nucleus it’s because the firing pin secures the cross pin
Yeah, I looked on their site, pretty good pic & description of the bolt.
The Zermatt Origin is similar, and I just made a FP substitute so that I can easily check headspace, touch point, etc.
