Best powder for 223 rem, 75gr BTHP Match, Starline

Lol, Service Rifle shooters look for any powder requiring between 24 to 25 grains and a 75-77gr bullet and go shoot. Load development not necessary until you can clean a 200y rapid target.

I use cfe223 in an AR that i shoot the 75 bthp with good accuracy. In one of my bolt rifles with the 73 eldm i use varget and shhots great.

I been running 22.0 of N133 in a Starline case with a CCI400 for years.
From a bench with a bipod and rear bag at 200 yards Berger 75 will
shoot 5 into .380 and Hornady 75 BTHP will shoot 5 into .506.
I just checked my notes and was getting 2743 FPS, 22.0 N133 and a 75 out of a 20" AR-15. A quick 5 shots over a Garmin yielded single digit ES, 3 shots were identical FPS.

Leverloution (sp) is a ball, good velocity and accuracy. Staball match, same. TAC is good but a bit faster burning.. google powder burn rate chart
