JB weld is usually synonymous with redneck engine repairs
However it is really good stuff

Assuming we're talking the Loctite Black Max, keep it in the fridge like you would all super glues (cyanoacrylate) and it'll last a really long time. My current small bottle has to be at least two years old. I'll try to look up when I bought it.
