Does NF have the NXS in FFP? I couldn’t find it on their website, but optics planet says they do. What models come in FFP MIL? I have their ATACR F1 5-20, but I got fancy wine taste on a natty ice budget. So a “cheaper” NF model in F1 mil would be awesome. Thanks everyone.

At the Nightforce webpage, select Riflescopes from the pull-down menu at the top. Then click on the name of each individual scope category (in red) AND it will take you to the page for that scope category. Listed in the left margin are various filters you can choose to narrow the number of scopes shown. First and second focal plane is one of the filter parameters, but it also makes it easy to see which categories contain F1 scopes.
As far as I can tell, ATACR, BEAST, NX8, and SHV categories each contain at least one F1 scope. It appears that the SHV 4-14x50 might fit the description of what you're looking for. NF used to sell a 3.5-15x50 (NXS?) F1 scope, but apparently they don't any more. I bought one when they first came out, but sold it later. The SHV looks pretty similar in configuration.
Thanks. I was on my phone looking at their website. I’ll check it out on my computer. Probably easier to navigate. I was super pumped when I found a NXS F1 Mil. Then couldn’t find it on their website. My only reservation about the SHV is nightforce says they aren’t weather proof. Hopefully the exposed turret model of the SHV is.
I wish they made the 5x20 in MIL F1. Scope companies are weird with their product releases. Thanks for the info. Pretty broke at the moment, just looking at options with this covid lockdown.

I agree, I don’t usually use anything over 12x very often even when shooting longer range buts it’s nice to have when you need it. I haven’t heard that the SHV wasn’t weather proof. I just emailed NF, I’ll let you know when I hear back from them.
Yeah, NF won’t honor their warranty if their capped models get water damage with their turret caps off. It’s only weather proof with the turrets on. Could be internet gibberish or an old warranty. Not sure.

Nightforce used to build a FFP NXS model. I have 5 of them. Mine are Nightforce NXS #C359 3.5-15x50 F1 with Zero Stop and MLR2.0 reticle. Do you need one?
I think they made this scope with a mildot reticle early on. They must have even made a MOA version at one time because I have seen one for sale on another forum.

But, in answer to the OP's topic, there is/was only ONE NXS model made FFP. It is the 3.5-15 F1 I believe they called it and it was my understanding that it came about due to a military contract.
At one time I owned 12 NXS scopes. All but one was the 5,5-22 and that one was a 3.5-15 F2 optic ( Still have it and a couple 5.5-22).
if your first concern is getting a specific reticle, you can go to the reticle page and it will tell you every scope that has that reticle. In the “Learn” section of the web site, there are pages showing all their reticle by focal plane. If you look at the F1 page you will find two slightly different MIL-R reticles.

If you look at the pages you will see the “MIL-R CENTER F1” reticle only comes on the the SHV 4-14x50 model mentioned above, and the “MIL-R F1” reticle only comes on 3 different ATACR models.
I have ATACR scopes and NX8 scopes, and I really like the value from the NX8 models, but none of the NX8 scopes come with the specific reticle you want.

Yes you are right. I was thinking of the retical I got, it was in both NXS and NX8.
