So, I bought a case of this to learn about my 6.5 Creedmoor Tikka T3X and the changes I made to it along the way.
I now wanted to repurpose some of these as reloading component. The primers were pretty tough to remove and then the primer pocket across hundreds of these measures .203" to ,206" consistently. A Winchester case primer pocket measures .210"
My military crimp remover does very little, my Primer pocket uniformer wont go in as it measures around .210" as well.
WTF kind of voodo is this ?IMG_20241230_142917961.jpgIMG_20241230_140619831.jpgIMG_20241230_140643438.jpg

I frequently work much harder than I ought to, in order to save a buck. With those however, I'd start with a simple weight/capacity check to see if they are worth messing with. -- or perhaps to weed out the ones which aren't worth messing with.

AND, I would MAKE my primer pocket uniformer work even if it didn't want to. jd

I weighed about a dozen, all within a gram or two. Winchester was 10.2 and most Aguila were 11.2 to 11.4
I have tried most everything in my limited tool box. The primer pocket uniformers only are center cutting.

I just measured my two favorite pocket uniformers, and they come in at .2045".
I Measured a CCI 200 primer, and it is .2105". (new)
So your equipment isn't so out of whack, and neither is the brass. Have you chamfered the pocket (maybe heavily) to provide a start for what is a pretty serious interference fit? jd
