How to use a scope checker?

Trying to figure out how to use a scope checker with and without a frozen scope.

Two scopes, one fixed one not: Aim both scopes on a grid target. They do not have to be aimed at the same point but you need to remember both points if not the same. Shoot gun and re-aim the fixed scope to its original grid aim point. If the non-fixed scope you are testing is still pointing to its original aim point it's good. Repeat shooting until you are satisfied that you're good or not. Some scopes will settle (move) after adjusting turrets and not move again. Some will keep moving every time you shoot. Bullet impacts can be ignored with a fixed scope with known good mounting.

Two scopes non-fixed: Do test as above. If both align to original aim points after shooting you're good. If not use bullet impact to figure out which scope is tracking and which is not. You need a pretty good gun for that. A good SRBR rifle should do.

Keep in mind that there can be ring shift issues that can skew the test so even a fixed scope could have issues if you haven't proofed the setup as known good.

Grid target from someone here or BRC I saved years ago:
