Second the Accutac hd50. I use it for everything but backpack hunting.Accutac hd50 or hydraulic bipod. Both are better than the atlas 5h. I haven’t use a super cal from them too compare though

This makes me wonder. Is a hard hold better than free recoil for long range..I just spoke to David and he said the Tubb bipod is more appropriate for a "hard hold" style like Nate shoots. Some of the other "free recoil" techniques might be better suited for the larger bipods that were recommended above. That is what he said...
Free recoil on a 338, 375, 416 doesn’t sound like a great idea. This makes me wonder. Is a hard hold better than free recoil for long range..

That’s one I’d like to tryI use a GRS, from Norway, on my FPR (like FTR but a magazine and folding bipod only) rifle. It is a spigot mount, and long enough for under or over the barrel mounting. All steel etc The stock in the picture is the GRS Warg, which I have on my 6BR with a Barnard SMS action.

The GRS bipod is a perfect tool and a testament to our long-range shooting commitment. It’s a heavy-duty, rugged, yet simple-to-operate Bipod that cangrsriflestocks.com
This right here best your going to find in a folding option.Accutac hd50 or hydraulic bipod. Both are better than the atlas 5h. I haven’t use a super cal from them too compare though
I maybe interested if he passes.i'd maybe be open to selling my hd-50 with ski feet/qd attach if you want to save a few $ off of new. i dumped my ELR rig and am looking for something more phoenix-esque
Sorry guys. I'm based in Aus so by the time we do a deal and add and exorbitant amount of postage it's probably not worth me buying used from OS. If you want to do a deal together then go for it!I maybe interested if he passes.
That's interesting with such a small cal. I don't get the idea behind spring retract. With the Harris I just hold the gun at the approx height I want, press the button and the leg shoots out until it hits something. Rest it on that leg and repete on the other side.I have had issues with the Accutac bipods. I have 2 of the wide body 4”. The torque of my rifles have caused the right leg to jump out of the slot and collapse. Happened twice during matches with my 6.5X47. Got with Accutac and got absolutely zero help. They did send 2 springs that were obviously bought at the hardware store. There was no way to use either spring! Think I have it fixed by putting a 2nd spring inside the original spring but now it takes both hands to adjust. I love the way they track but CS is non existent.
