Anyone recognize this stock?

Was cruising through the police buy-back and surrendered guns site because there is occasionally something interesting like this Panda kit. Now this site does not sell actions and they're all chopped in half sadly, but what you see is what you get.

Anyone know this stock? Kit price looks decent, jewel trigger, PPC bolt...

I’m still trying to get a handle on a $2500 Benchrest rifle at a police buy back or turn in. Had to have been stolen.
In my 30yr LEO career, I lost count of how many people would bring “Grandpa’s”collection in, just to get rid of them after he died. I would always refer them to the local shops, as surrendering them to the agency meant destruction. A lot did not care, some even preferred that. First thing at a “buy back” was the serial numbers getting run in NCIC. If they hit as stolen, every attempt to get them back to the owners was priority.

Sadly, that was my experience as well. I referred people to the local Cabelas where, at least they would get something for them. I saw several multi-thousand dollar guns come through and the people had no clue. Most people were very grateful but, unfortunately, I live in a very liberal area and many people WANTED the guns destroyed. I felt like asking if they had any other tools they needed destroyed while we were at it....hammers, shovels....anything.

Looks like a fairly unique paint job, curious if anyone recognized it from its functional days on the line. Price seems a bit high for a bolt, stock and trigger, can't really count on the barrel.

I once saw a Luger, a SSA and a nice Savage tip up 22 all get chopped cause some numbnutz found them in grampy's sock drawer and carried them in the Sheriff's office in a box holding it like it contained a black mamba. Would not take no for an answer. Wouldn't sell. Insisted on destruction....like those guns were responsible for genocide or something. Some people are just too stupid to ...well...know better.

I think next buy back I'm going to go get a length of black iron pipe, some 2x4 and mouse traps. Say I found these booby traps in grandpa's shed. Collect the money and go buy a new gun with it.
