UPDATE ON MY SON TRAVIS - KIDNEY REMOVAL WENT HOME TODAY

Just spoke with Travis and he is doing well. Still in quite a bit of pain and really sore but he says he is feeling good otherwise. Really wanted to acknowledge everyone for all the prayers and thank you all for them. I expect him to fully recover and be up and about soon as he is a very strong willed person.
Prayer goes out to you and your son!!! I wish him a speedy and full recovery.

Bill, all of my prayers to your Son.

As many know, I am in stage four Kidney failure, down to about 27% function. The aim is to keep it there, and avoid any more loss. If the worse happens, it is either living on dialysis or perhaps a transplant, which at my age might be a hit and miss.

I am thankful your Son can see the bright light at the end of the tunnel.

Thank you Jackie and praying your kidneys hold out for you as well.

Bill, I hope things go well for Travis. Good prayers and good doctors. Mark

I'm glad to hear he's doing better. Strong willed is a good thing to be when dealing with something like this. Travis is in my prayers.

The successful surgery just before Thanksgiving gives a lot to be thankful for. Continued prayers for your son's recovery and your family.

Thanks guys for the continued prayers and well wishes for Travis. I spoke with him last nite for a few mins. and he was able to move around the house and even exercise his arms with light weights. He said out of the 6 areas where he was cut only 2 of them are still paining at times. He seems to be bouncing back really quickly and wants to begin some desk work from home. And that's about what I expected to hear him say.
