A BETTER 2ND UPDATE EYE SURGERY

Bill,
Going for my initial consult this Friday for cataract surgery myself. All the best for a speedy recovery and the results u are looking for.

Bob
Bill 8 min. for the left eye and 10min. for the right eye I was awake for both, and it was painless

That part about "seems" to be brighter is real. I was floored to see the difference and to rediscover what white looks like. I was seeing nearly beige instead! Enjoy...
Yea, I was thinking it had to be different. I was seeing too many things that just looked so much better. LOL.

Cataracts are yellow. You were looking through a yellow filter. If you want to see how bad it was, once your right eye heals a little, but before you get your left eye done, put a yellow shooting glasses lens over your right eye and compare it to your left eye. You will see how yellow your right eye was.

Wishing you well in your recovery.

I need this too but have been procrastinating. Probably going to do it in 2025 if I am still around.

I truly believe you.

Wow, Bill. Did not know. If you need anything brother, let me know. Will head your way if needed. I know you are surrounded by great folks, Graham included. LOL.

I totally appreciate that Bro. I think I'm good and absolutely have some of the best folks around me that anyone could ask for.

Cataract surgery went well today in right (trigger) eye. A little blurriness and discomfort now but Dr. says it will improve soon. Seems I can tell a difference already with brightness but probably too soon to tell for sure. Can't wait for the 10 days of healing to get over so I can shoot again. Appreciate all the prayers from all.
Hey Bro, I hope this surgery works out well for you. History has shown this is not a big deal any more and I know you will be fine. Relax and heal!

Bill,
Wishing you a speedy recovery and quick return to putting bullets down range.
Take care,
Tim

Wishing your recovery goes well. Mine didn't and required laser surgery followup. 4 years, 8 months later I still wish I had never had the surgery. Guess I'm the odd man out. But it will be the cold day before they cut on my left eye.

Glad it went well. We sometimes take our vision for granted. So, so important.

I’m waiting on cataract surgery, MD says they’re not ripe enough yet. Did have two small retinal tears this summer, which required laser surgery. I had a lot of floaters and a grey blob that obscured the vision in my aiming (right) eye. Luckily, it has resolved since then and I can see though a scope again, was a bit scary for a while.

My buddies have all had it done and say it was pretty smooth process. Heal well sir and enjoy the wonders of sight.
