SELLING Sightron S-TAC 3-16x42 Illum Zero Stop FFP. $350

Good morning,

I am listing for sale a great condition S-TAC scope. Item #26017.

It is their newest 42mm offering, and incorporates:

--Side focus
--FFP Mil reticle,
--day-bright adjustable illumination,
--0.1 MIL adjustments,
--the best glass available at the price point,
--the exceptional ExacTrac Sightron system.

If you are not familiar with ExacTrac, it is essentially Bill's long-revered Weaver MicroTrac, but with more spring tension, and carbide spheres at the contact points on the erector tube. The results, as far as tracking and repeatability, are exceptional.

I am trading this out for the MOA model, because I am old, think in Minutes, and shoot mostly on Minute-oriented targets.

From general range and safe use, there are some minor dings in finish, but glass is clean and clear, and ring marks are extremely, extremely minimal; it only has seen use on rimfire, after all.

For this scope, I'd like $350, including USPS Priority insured shipping. It is ready to ship.

I try to be thorough. Yes, that's something like Sharpee on the bell, from the previous owner. It's not even a big spot...looks more annoying with the black marker on it.

Please excuse the dust...we're in the grain belt, in a dry harvest. Anything NOT dusty is dusty in minutes.

Worst thing Sightron ever did was stop making their 3-9x36 AO ExacTrac. Best rimfire sporter-ish scope there was, even including the much-sought Leupold VX-II rimfire.

What they need to do is, make the SFP STAC models with an IR. That's a perfect hunting scope at a great price but needs an IR.

Thought that's what you meant.

This one IS illuminated. 11 settings, with "off" between each, which is nice. Good,
crisp Lume, about like the NXS low and medium variables.

Look at the pictures in post #1, if you want to see it. Crappy picture, but you get the idea.

Top. Reviewed my thought process, and repriced to $350.

Great scope, at about 1/2 what you'd pay in the open market. Again, I am only trading out because I want the MOA.
