Silencerco Omega 300 with 270 win?

Am I good to go with attaching my Omega 300 to a Savage trail hunter 270 win without any problems? No extra special washer, just flat suppressor to muzzle? This barrel is a semi - heavy barrel.

Make sure it's tight / flush against the shoulder. Should be fine.

I run my Omega 30 on a .22 LR and it actually knocks down the noise, with subsonic rounds, to the level of my vintage Benjamin .22 pellet gun. It should do a pretty good job on a .270.

Direct thread? If so, you are good to go, I use my .30 cal on a 6.5 CM, and a 10/22 with a thread adapter. As Rardoin indicates, with subsonic .22 LRs it is like shooting an Air Rifle.
I think my HW97K in 5MM/.20 cal is louder.

I always put a small dab of nickel anti seize on the the threads and give it a quick turn against the shoulder , check frequently that it doesn’t come loose , bafflestrikes are no fun!

I've got one it's great. I took the anchor brake off to take some more noise off. I also prefer direct thread on with a tiny bit of anti-seize. Be sure to keep it on tight. If it comes loose at all it will change poi. A good cover/wrap is nice too they get hot and if your like me you seem to forget that.

It will lead up really really bad and carbon up. You will never get it out unless it's a serviceable center fire can

I own 4 rimfire suppressors, 3 are serviceable, one of them is not.

The awc that doesn't come apart has to be sent in for them to take it apart and clean it.

I've had to send it in once so far. It got so bad it quit suppressing the shot.

If it’s a 5/8x24 thread you are good to go. There is a member here…John11-87 that makes an adapter for 1/2x28 threaded barrels that work great.

I'd like to see how well this works on the inside of a barrel. If it indeed removes lead and carbon like they claim, would be a great cleaning regimen. Especially for cast bullet shooters.

I cannot answer that. I’ve asked several others and they told me that it did clean up Rimfire and centerfire cans quite well. Once I feel that mine needs it, I’m going to give it a try.
