Remington Mohawk action with 700 bolt handle,24" x caliber 1-8" bbl.,McMillan stock,Timney trigger@1#14 oz.,Burris rings and bases, unknown custom bolt release and a Douglas 1-14 .223 bbl. that is unfired. Both barrels are stainless and .600" at the muzzle. Both barrels chambered and fitted by the late Butch Hongisto. When I had him fit the barrels I was trying to decide between 6x45 and 6x47. Loves some 62 grain Pindell bullets I tried.Less than 100 rounds fired.Has single shot sled with all of the internal magazine parts included. Scope and sling not included.Weighs app.8 lbs.w/o scope and sling.Selling because I plan to build a Tikka 6x45. 1400.00 firm+shipping in CONUS.53977284367_3fe18dee58_k.jpg53978174471_2d75ef65d3_c.jpg53978172911_0c4762f3d4_c.jpg53978483174_8db555d7e2_c.jpg51137562192_7fa13afb5e_c.jpg

Don’t mean to step on your ad but anyone looking for a medium range, easy to load for caliber needs to look at your rifle.
Thanks! Probably the easiest cartridge I have ever loaded for, plus a lot of milage out of a little powder. I plan to build another shorter 6x45 on a SS Tikka action for my idea of a perfect truck gun.

Hey Jim, real quick question. Have you ever used the internal magazine parts to shoot this rifle as a repeater? If not do you think it can be set up as a repeater? Also is the .223 barrel also stainless and 24"

Have not shot or tried as a repeater, but the follower and spring are there. Had SS trough when I got it . Both barrels are the same, I think actually 23.5. When I got the gun it had a19" .22x35 bbl on it, which is basically a .222 shortened. I have that bbl also.

I used a 308 box with a filler block in the rear with a 223 follower works very well, I used a piece of sheet steel to form the spacer mig weld and tacked it in place. this is a Rem 700 action
