Just an odd day, some good some not so good

Member here had a wanted add for 8208XBR, I sent PM and told him I'd let 2 pounds go, $60 per pound, I'm not sure if I mentions or he ask if I had an any N140, I told him I had an 8 lb jug to sell, he just wanted a pound so I opened the 8 pounder and measured out one pound labeled with lot number and date of production (2022), during this time we are trying to get together to get it delivered. Spot picked, text me today and ask if I take PP and I said yes, it is a business account so add 3.2% $5.86 I think, then he text back and said I'm a long time reloader and powder has been sitting and I'm asking retail and he's out. What the heck???? So I'll be doing no business with him.........ever.
Good thing today, I just opened some BIB 30 cal 112s, when I get a new batch of bullets I always check the first one to see if I need to adjust the die in or out for consistent fit, BAMB! Exact same measurement, so I had to check 2 or 3 more and then rolled on seating for the Nationals!

Regardless of price, size, etc., when someone says it's a deal, it's a deal. Going back on your word is a huge deal to me. No different than lying. I'll take it means just that. It does not mean 'I'll take it, but only if I can't find a better deal elsewhere or it's closer or whatever.' I can't blame you a bit for not wanting to deal with him and would love to know who it is so I can also stay away....

He changed the terms to terms that are against forum policy unless he expected you to eat the pp charge. No FF pp deals on here from my understanding. Either way, he changed the terms, not you. His terms came with an upcharge for the convenience. Really just that simple to me. I'll give ya $30/lb though! Lol!

In the FOR SALE section of this forum, it says, "WARNING!! -- NEVER USE PAYPAL, ZELLE, VENMO for GUNS & AMMO -- NEVER use PAYPAL Friends & Family for any purchase!!"

Is the "WARNING" a suggestion for the individuals protection or a Forum rule? Also, does powder and brass come under the category of AMMO or is ammo loaded ammunition?

I wasn't selling guns or ammo, and that was at his suggestion, I never really thought about that. I can promise you it won't happen again, especially with that guy. I also listed CASH as I thought that was what it was about. Thank you for the reminder, I won't sell guns or ammo using the above mentioned.

Don't you just dislike those flip-floppers? I'm working on gathering up parts for winter projects that include a 6.5 PRC and two .25 PRCs. This has included stocks, actions, bullets, a trigger and a few other items. Everyone that I have dealt with has been a delight. Great communication and all have kept me updated on progress. I know there can be a bad apple in the barrel but I have been fortunate to deal with only GREAT Apples. Thanks to all of you and you'll know who I'm referring to

My question wasn't directed towards you, even though it probably sounded like it. After seeing your posting, it made me realize I wasn't sure what the FOURM "Warning" really meant.
I apologize for the confusion.
