fireforming peterson brass... manufacturers warning

Well, I just bought 150 Peterson 6BR cases, which I will blow out to 30 BR, just like I do the Lapua. That can be described as a pretty radical “fireforming”.

I suppose I will see how it works
It'll work just fine, Jackie. Just drop your charge a tiny bit (around 0.3 gr., using LT-30) to account for the slightly lower case volume.

If someone filing a lawsuit had to pay all legal costs for both sides if they lost a suit- it would eliminate thousands of B.S. lawsuits and bring down the cost of all products in our country. Eliminate "emotional distress" and other unprovable easy-target suits. Raise penalty for ANY insurance fraud requiring 30 days in jail on first offense. We need Cool Hand Luke jails - not those with niceties. Put them to work and be productive. There are ways to fix all of these problems one way or another. We just have a bunch of attorneys running our Country who were sadly born with no morals or balls to want to fix this. Every box of bullets or primers we buy cost more because of people's increasing attitude of making someone else pay for their own stupidity. It has gotten steadily worse ever since applicants' attorneys started advertising and was popularized by Obama, who openly blamed banks and businesses for all of everyone's problems. Sadly - a lot of our younger generation has bought into this. After all, a kid "should" be able to look up to the President and believe what he says to be true, right? Sad situation. I look at Harris and Trump. Who would be most likely to cut off the gravy train to these people and their attorneys? Having the right President could, someday, mean not requiring all those disclaimers. I hope I see it in my lifetime before I croak.

At what cost to our individual freedoms? Why not just move to a communist country. They will surely accommodate your request.;)

With every change in our legal system - there are pros and cons to all involved - that is for sure. I'm not saying folks shouldn't have a right to legal representation. But there has to be a mechanism to prevent and/or punish those who unfairly take advantage of others by using the legal system. It either comes down to changing the system to prevent abuse or punishing those who abuse it in a manner to make them not want to do it. Forty years ago, few would have thought of groups of thugs walking into a Walmart, for example, load shopping carts full of stuff and just stroll out of the store with little fear of prosecution. Shop owners stand by, helpless. If they try to stop someone, they are the ones in trouble, sued by the losers and their advocates. So, you think one should move to a communist country rather than fix the problems we have here? I'm not that guy. Forty years ago, manufacturers didn't get sued every time someone hurt himself, drank too hot of coffee, saw someone else in the office promoted when he felt he was more deserving, etc., etc. We are a society evolving into wanting something for nothing, not wanting to work to get ahead - as it is too easy to just take it from someone else. Personally, I'd rather send the offenders to a Communist Country so they can see just how good they have had it here. Personal ranting aside, it is surely no surprise that not everyone thinks our legal system is being abused in manners not thought of when the laws were put in place. But back then - no one could have thought of what goes on today. And that is why we see disclaimers on everything - even hot coffee. At what threshold is a person expected to be self-accountable? I'd say that threshold is getting pretty darn low.....

My initial experience with Peterson brass was back when they started making 7br brass. When I put my 6br together Peterson was and is my go to. No issues and excellent performance.

I couldn't agree more! Well said.

When did Peterson make 223 brass?
KK25,

At least four or five years ago, probably more. Prices were about 1/2 or 1/3 the normal cost for the .223, 260 and 338LM. Don't know if they had a cash flow problem or what. Grafs had it as "No Name" brass, but it was Peterson when it showed up. Even the comments listed it as Peterson. All has worked fine for my purposes.

HTH,
DocBI

Peterson should have Told me that about 900 cases ago, for my 6 BRA lol.
All I use for my 6bra, 30br and dashers. Another thing of you are shooting a 6 brx the six dasher brass works great. Chambers with the slightest resistance got a perfect fire form fit. Give it a shot you won’t be disappointed.
