I have been fortunate enough to handle a couple of rifles and XP’s.
One of the worst blunders I ever made was letting an XP slide by me. The hot dogs and mac and cheese for a few months would have been well worth it.

Same here.
I owned his personal #5 XP and sadly let it go 15+ years ago.
The first time I shot it at a 50/50 unlimited match one of the old timers asked me twice if I’d like to borrow his rifle to shoot the match when he saw my little XP,
I said I brought it to shoot, he shrugged his shoulders and grinned.
My first card out the gate was a 250 and nobody laughed at the little gun after that.
