Oh yea another clicker thread

I have a 6xc tubb chamber. My fired brass at the .200 line is .469, My sized brass with a Wilson 6xc tubb die measures .469. When I run it through my .45 acp die it doesn’t hardly touch it enough to rub the red sharpie off. The .45 acp die measures .461 so apparently the case isn’t making it far enough in that die because of the chamfering . Do I grind a shell holder down and grind the mouth of the .45 die so my case will go in deeper ? What die dimension would I need to collapse it smaller than .469. If a die was .467 would it spring back to .468 would that be enough to fix ? Sorry for all the numbers but it’s what I have come up with.

How many firings do you have on these cases?
3rd firing. And they are not run hot 38.5gr of h4350 with a Berger 108. I noticed light clickers on second. I thought well if they stay like that I’ll be fine. Wrong thought to have. What diameter would they need to be squeezed to fit and work I wonder. I got a .470 measurement on a couple fired cases but most were .469. The mouth on my sizing die is.466 but I can’t get to there because I’ll be bumping shoulder back way to much. New brass with calipers I’m getting .468 to .4685.

Yes
Easy enough to polish the chamber to gain some room.
I feel comfortable enough to do that. Can the brass I have fired be saved that was clickers will they act normal if I get dimensions right ?

Also if others could maybe chime in on their fired and sized dimensions at the .200 line I’d appreciate it. It’s hard for me to grasp if it was a tubb reamer in 6xc not 6xc ll and my die is a tubb 6xc why isn’t it squeezing it enough. I went though a pile of threads over the xc chamber and sent many pms on here with what they used did it work ? did it not ? why or why not so I would be sure to dodge any possible issues and I found one anyways. I can’t help but wonder if the die is out of spec

I'm out of the country and flying back tomorrow. PM sent

What is the chamber suppose to be at the. 200? You got access to a reamer print or maybe a call to Tubb could tell you.

Yes I just don’t know if it’s the die not. Wilson offers a 6xc tubb over size die but it’s a special order. Probably going to give them time to get going this morning and give them a call.
In my opinion even if your chamber is or was .470 your die still isn't sizing down at the base enough.
