Storage Cabinet - Suggestions

I am in the process of downsizing my shop area and reorganizing it. I would like to purchase a stationary storage cabinet to: 1. consolidate everything in one place and 2. to keep the dust from accumulating on the stuff. The cabinet will be in the basement and store gun cleaning supplies, shop hardware, and other shop related items, nothing very heavy or bulky.

I have zeroed in on a Harbor Freight - Yukon Cabinet (30 x 18 x 72) because it has four adjustable shelves, seems about the right size I need for everything, it has doors, and I can pick up locally. Any you guys have one and can offer comments in it or have a better option.

Thanks.

Rural King has welded shelf steel cabinets that are nice and sturdy, pickup in store.
I have one and really like it .
Menards has cabinets also.

. . . seems about the right size I need for everything . . .
You caught my attention here. I'd caution against "right sizing." I can't tell you how many times I bought enough of something, only to eventually find out is wasn't enough. I think my possessions just have a way of expanding. George Carlin has some wise words to that effect.

My two cents? Get the bigger one!

Home Depot has some cabinets with adjustable shelves and painted white inside. Easier to find things with the white inside!

Used two door office storage cabinet like the amazon one ^^^ but off Facecrap Marketplace. I see them listed all the time for cheap. I'm talking $25ish or so cheap.

Just last week I picked up two 72x36x18 cabinets from Menards. They offer a few different colors but stocked only the black, which was what I’d have picked anyway. They come as a box of panels that screw together. Fairly well made IMO. One to the left and one to the right of the safe/file cabinet.IMG_2721.jpeg

Appreciate the advice however, I learned a long time ago, that stuff will expand to fill the storage space. This is my way of reverse discipline, limiting the storage area so my stuff will not expand. ;) :);)

But your point is well taken and if I was a younger man, I would opt the way you suggest, but I have more hardware that I can possible ever use in what remaining life I have left.

Check out the home storage section at Home Depot. That's where all the plastic storage items/cabinets are. Lots of ideas and sizing, adjustable shelves.

Sams club carries seville classics. I have 2 work benches and a couple cabinets. Much better quality than my husky cabinets and work benches. They have more stuff you can order through the website than in store. I shopped a lot and found them to be the best quality and price.
I have a couple each of the benches and cabinets, they are rock solid and well worth the money. I added a couple shelves for one of the benches and yes, they are full. Great place to store bullets and brass in plastic tubs.

Thanks, will check it out. There's one locally around here.
