Couple 22's and Mom's Mauser

Couple 2500x stocks for @Paul Beel the
Cherry Rotex was built by Zack Donovant of Old Dominion Custom Rifles. Copper Orange & Vintage Amber dyes were used followed with Rootbeer candy cut in half with yellow candythe McMillan edge was one of those projects I could do no wrong.
Major repairs were done to give it new life GM's Tropical Turquoise with a healthy dose of Glasurits sparkle blue pearl.

the McMillan was a true POS stock had 6 holes with inserts, plus a chunk cut out by the action for a thumb rest, was readyto tie a nickel to it and thr it away, but Brett said he could fix it and man did he fix it. A true testimony to his talent and craftsmanship. Thanks Bud!

Yes Sir as soon as I get these eye balls fixed I plan to go shoot with Gene and those guys. Sounds like Graham had a blast when he was there.

I keep saying hunting rifles can be pretty too.
It was a fun project to say the least.
I had a lil help from our local gunsmith and friend Mark Skaggs in getting butt pad shaped, he showed me how to set up the angle with a special lil jig then stood back and laughed at me once I was covered in black dust.
Not that I want to grind butt pads but I now know what I need to get to do another.
