Front rest

I’m noticing that in hot humid weather that my front rest gets sticky ish. Anyone else have this issue and is there any easy solution?

Are you talking about the rifle doesn't slide in the bags as easily or that the operation of the rest itself is not as smooth as normal?
If it's the bags getting sticky then the dryer sheets are the answer.

It may have been the cheap Dollar General sheets I used but I found a used sheet was better than a new one.
I tried talc but it turned to mud in the humid Alabama weather.
Yes, used is best and what most use when this is referred to. Being the internet, maybe we can discuss how long we should leave them in the drier to work best. ;) :D ;) Somebody will have an opinion. Lol!

I don’t use them any more, i clean the stock with alcohol on a paper towel then add ceramic spray with a paper towel and let it dry. Also ensure the front bag isn’t too soft and grabby or have grease or Grimm on it.
YMMV but that’s mine.
