Nightforce “frozen zero stop” issue

I currently have two ATACRs with this issue I of course called Nightforce and they of course so oops no worries we will fix it, this problem is on multiple forums around the internet a definite known issue….
nows here’s my problem they said send it in and we will fix it, so I says send me a call ticket for th shipping and they said NO you ship it to us and we will ship it back to you, now as this is a know manufacturing issue I think they should pay shipping both ways I already paid a lot of money for this optics and shipping these with insurance is expensive……..
what say you folks,

That's also been my experience with NF's CS, you pay to get it there.

In contract to Vortex, they cover it all.

I would understand if I mounted this to a .50 cal. And fired a thousand rounds even though they claim these scopes are rated for .50s I would say that’s above and beyond and pay for the shipping just happy that they are fixing it….. but that’s not the case this is a known manufacturing issue not my fault at all….

Pay for the shipping but keep this in mind. Next time you purchase a scope buy something different and let them know. JMO

I was just curious as I have 16 NightForce Zero Stop scopes and have never had an issue.
I learn something new everyday.

That would most likely the case. Mine are all NSX's.

The bur in the clutch mechanism is a known issue, must slip by QC regularly. Until the Bidenflation shipping costs weren't an issue, now I guess companies can't handle it either.

Maybe where you live and ship, substantially higher shipping costs started well before him or the guy before him for that matter. It was mildly annoying back in 2008-2010 ish then it started climbing and has every year since. Considerably so.
