"Gun Tent" Rifle Cover Sources?

Had one made at a local auto upholstery shop for my F/TR gun 25.00!

The original "Gun Tent was sold by Benchrite, now PMA. Pat Reagin at PMA says "We are hoping to have those back by Spring for the next shooting season!"

They’re back and they’re every bit as good as the tents Gammon made for Benchrite. I bought one.

I use a back pack rain cover. The elastic keeps it in place in the wind, it is easy on and off, and it doesn't take up much space.

Someone here had them for sale in the classifieds. He made them and sold quite a few some years back. Here's a picture and the label guessing it's his personal email.

I’ve been making and selling a gun tent (along with stock boot) for several years. I sell them at Benchrest matches that I attended. The tent is made with water repellent marine vivyl on the outside and quilted cotton on the inside. They are nearly identical to those made in the past by the late Bill Gammon. The tent is $35, and the boot is $20.

The tents are 47”x8”. I can ship them, but I’ll have to get back to you on how much it will be. The cleaning boot is 14”x6” and are designed for the newer style short range Benchrest stocks that have a 3.5” long buttstock height (I can make them wider for hunting rifles, but I didn’t want to make this into a business) LOL.

OK what are the rain covers used at the bench during matches called and if you will where does one find them? This is for entire rifle it just drapes over the whole rifle.

PMA has nice gun covers. Pretty sure that’s what you’re looking for.

My wife is a seamstress and going to try her hand at it with a quilted material and a vinyl outer shell, she is making one for me and I'll post pictures and see if anyone has any interest, will be able to customize length to a degree so we will see (she monograms also).

The cleaning boots are made with the same material. However, the quilted Cotten is on the outside and the marine vinyl is on the inside to protect the stock from cleaning solvents.
