Barrel Twist Affect Terminal Ballistics?

Does the barrel twist rate effect terminal ballistics? Say I have a .223 Rem with a 55gr bullet traveling 3000 fps through a 1:12 barrel, will the terminal effect be different on a soft target if using a .223 Rem with a 55gr bullet traveling 3000 pfs though a 1;7 barrel?

Yes, bullets tend to blow better with faster twists. Just don’t spin them so fast they don’t make it to the target.

What about copper solid bullets? I would guess those could take a high rpm?

I have heard they work better too but I don’t have any personal experience with them.
