DEWALT 20 VOLT 5 AMP FANS

Already had Craftsman batteries and charger so I went with it. Puts out fairly well.
Been there too, Bill. Not telling you what to do but the sooner you switch to dewalt or milwaukee, the happier you'll be, IME. I wish I had done it probably 8-10 years sooner. But I'm hard headed. Lol! I've still got a bunch of craftsmen stuff but it's almost like computers and how they get out dated by new products constantly. Again, DeWalt and Milwaukee lead the way there too, most of the time. Makita makes some good stuff and so does Metabo, fwiw. Metabo excels in electrical powered stuff over battery, but are good tools across the board...made in Germany fwiw. Hard to beat dewalt or milwakee for battery powered tools. JMHO sir.

Yea I have Dewalt stuff too but the fan alone was the same price (149.00) as the kit so I thought well I'll save a buck or two and go with Craftsman.

Look I bought the harbor freight fan because I had several batteries already. It may or may not move as much air as others but on one battery it last longer than my shooting sessions normally do
Can't blame ya, especially if ya don't frequently use other tools. Everybody's situation is different but yeah...if my cordless tool usage was pretty limited and didn't mind dedicating a battery or two and charger to a job or two...yes, I'd do what you're doing too. The real difference comes when you have 10-12 different tools, already. That's when changing brands is a pretty big deal and that's when the same batteries and chargers become a big deal.. and this is without regard to performance of each and every one of those tools in your day to day use of them. IOW, if I've got a dozen dewalt tools and twenty batteries, the price difference has to be very substantial for me to buy ANY other brand of tool, charger and battery for a single job. That's all. Contractors deal with this stuff all the time and they typically go with a single brand, where the whole product line is of good quality for what they do with it. For the occasional user, Ryobi is pretty good stuff for less money.

Lowes does give 10% Military discount but it is no longer on Dimension Lumber I believe wiring and some other items.

Home Depot I believe is on everything and Menards has pretty much quit supporting Veterans.

Ran today using a 5 ah battery. On high it ran 6.5 hours and used 50% battery according to the on board battery guage. I can't imagine needing more. Fan was $25 and I already had batteries so what more can you ask for.
