Went by a local reloading store today

They had six 1lb bottles of Reloder 22. I was surprised, to say the least. More shocking was the price - $69.99 per bottle. I recently (6 mo ago) found 6 lbs and am set on the reloder 22 now - didn't need to buy these. I thought how crazy that price was... then I realized, I paid $62.99 for the ones I bought. LOL well, the good news, I saved $4 per bottle when I did buy!

I found six (6) bricks of Win SRP's at a semi-local chain sporting goods store the other day, along with several loose trays of 100 stacked up on the same shelf. A worker was stocking the shelf close by, and I picked up a brick to verify it was a full box or empty, and a store employee next to me said he would check the price on the brick if I wanted, and i said sure figuring it was 10x the single tray price, but no, it was $1 less per tray. I asked if there was a limit, and he checked on his inventory device, and said nope. I got 3 bricks, didn't want to be greedy, but I considered being my usual azzhole self and take 'em all. LOL

This new word on the nitrocellulose shortage should raise an eyebrow. I wouldn’t take this news with a grain of salt.
Yup…another “ writing on the wall” bit of news. I see story after story about how “they” are trying to end gun ownership and “shooting” of any kind. Europe is further along in the disarmament race. “They” are going after knives over there.
The pressure is strong and building. Remember…even Trump folded on bump stocks.

This is just one more "nail in the coffin" for our sport. Gun owner's insurance, ban on lead bullets, registration and licensing schemes, arsenal licenses, mandatory gun safes subject to government inspection, and semi-auto bans, etc. are just a few of the schemes to take away firearms from the law-abiding public.

I am at the age where my days remaining in the sport are shortening but I wonder about the future of the sport and more importantly about the freedoms we once enjoyed. New shooters entering the sport face obstacles that never existed when I began and I wonder how many will just conclude, it just isn't worth it financially or socially.
