Its just my version of a 25/47, but since Glenns done most of the development I named it after him. Were pretty excited about it, just messing around with Tom on this one. Its mainly going to be a 300 WSM heavy gun.

Man, I love that piece of wood! Or pieces. Lol! Looks great like it is. Does it not have any finish on it? Looks like a satin sheen. Either way, me likey!

Its got enough oil content it looks like an oil finish already. I think the saw dust almost killed ole Roy off.

Roy I'm worried about the weight of the nose.
Wires from ceiling to nutted bolts so you can try and drop the butt with some ballast, and disperse the weight across a wider area.
Also thought of fabricating a bracket agin bolts through metal supporting stock from front and rear pillars.

How important is the final finish of the bbl channel? I mean, with a few minutes work, a hole could be filled and blended pretty nicely, in an area noone ever sees anyway...fwiw. Or...it could be left alone too. I mean ...

Once again, I'm probably missing something but it seems pretty workable unless the bbl channel needs to be just as perfect as the parts that actually show. If so, maybe something as simple as hot glue in the bbl channel, then go back and finish the bbl channel last. Just thinking out loud is all.

He could drill a 1 inch hole all the way through and still just send it to me and I'll suffer through disposing of it for him. Lol!

I’ve been messing around with a few wide forearm stocks. If you plan on installing a butt plate you can rig up a lazy Susan base that uses the treaded anchors for the butt plate and shoot it vertically.

Wipe adhesion promoter on the rails and clear over them, problem solved, after they've been glued of course. Lol
