Those running a Henry Remple bipod…

Hey, folks! I ordered a Remple bipod this past Friday (should be shipped out today) and I wanted to check with the “Brain Trust” here and see what is to be said about them. Looking forward to hearing what you have to say. Thanks!

Sweet! I’m trying it instead of using an AccuTac FC-4 G2 from the bench. The AccuTac is a BEAST of a bipod, but lacks the precision height adjustment I’d like to have.

A large majority of the competitors at the various long range matches we do use a Rempel. A few use a Phoenix which are nice but compared to the Rempel it lookps like it's fragile and lighter but does function well.

Once you get used to tweaking your front for height adjustment and keeping your rear stock buried hard in a bag it's amazing how solid and stable it is.

That is why I made my hard canvas oval bags to use with the Rempel. Roll the bag to a comfortable height and adjust the Rempel to be perfect on the target and it's nearly like sitting in an expensive rest.

The newer models have pivoting feet, mine do not but I made a set of feet that are curved/rounded so no matter the angle they are planted firmly. The other one has slightly curved flat pads with skateboard tape on the bottom. Both sit on a thin soft rubber mat so it don't skid around on a bench top.

Hard for some to get past their adjusting the legs of their bipod and then squeezing their rear bag for height adjustment. We've had much better results with the Rempel and the oval bag but it isn't the best choice for PRS/NRL types of shooting off obstacles, too bulky and hard to reset quickly.

And they also work great on a pistol.

Where did you order it from?

Great Bipods, But if you are worried about making weight or are cutting it close it might not be the right choice. A solid Bipod though, very nice to shoot off of.

Straight from Mr. Remple.
I already tried looking him up on this super terrific world wide web and all I came up with is a bunch of us BS'n about how good they are and no place to look at them or where to buy. I never knew about these till two days ago. I would like to get some more info. So a little help would be appreciated. Thanks

I like mine, they're built like a tank and very solid to shoot from.
The only criticism I'd offer is that they're not anodized, but raw aluminum that I think has been sandblasted. All the steel parts are stainless.
If you don't need pretty they're the cat's meow.
I went with the pic rail version rather than Arca.
Henry's a great guy to deal with, I probably spent 30-45 mins talking with him on the phone to get any questions I had ironed out.
Delivery should be quick. When I ordered mine last year he had them in stock, shipped the next day I think.

For those of you that have the Remple bipod how long did it take for you to receive it from Canada? I’m wondering if there’s an “issue” with the delivery of the one I ordered because it seems that when it arrived in Los Angeles, California (customs) the tracking stopped and there’s been no “movement” since May 10th (6 days ago).
