Thanks guysThat's all there is to it. It will take a couple of firings to fully form the brass.
No problem. Enjoy your .22-.250 AI. what's your barrel twist? With the right twist, this cartridge can raise some eyebrows with the heavier .224 bullets. Thanks guys
I’m doing an 8 twist thinking of doing the Berger 80.5 actually I have some of these bullets already. No problem. Enjoy your .22-.250 AI. what's your barrel twist? With the right twist, this cartridge can raise some eyebrows with the heavier .224 bullets.
If this was a 22-250 before the rechambering, was the barrel set back when the AI chamber was cut? I acquired a 223AI that the barrel wasn't set back on when it was cut and the headspace was excessive. Can I take a standard 22 250 and just fire it in a 22 250 AL chamber and and that it no other steps to fire form ?
Thinking about it last night and might just put a new barrel on it may chamber a 22 250 AL or looking at the 22 CM as well.If this was a 22-250 before the rechambering, was the barrel set back when the AI chamber was cut? That is how Parker designed it to work. You will be just fine. Can I take a standard 22 250 and just fire it in a 22 250 AL chamber and and that it no other steps to fire form ?

Yes they are.I use lapua brass that’s one good thing about the 22 250 you got lapua brass . So now I have to neck down 6 CM lapua brass which I don’t mind but I can’t find that brass so guess I will just have to neck down the 6.5 brass .22-250AI and 22 creed are basically the same thing.
