Getting ready to order a new rear bag. What do you prefer for ear height.I shoot a 2 piece with rear bag a lot. 3/8" spacing on Edgewood rear bags. RoTex, Lidgard, McMillan Straightline Edge, Pippin, Peightal, all 3/8" and none of them have the dreaded 3 point contact! I know in CF that 3 point is popular, but in IR 50/50 hardly anyone I know shoots 3 point for a reason, and I have a moderate bit of experience in IR.

My primary bag has short ears. It's the Edgewood 'Original Rear Bag' in standard height, 3/8" spacing. I also have a 'Mini Gator' Edgewood. Bigger footprint, taller body and taller/longer ears, also 3/8" spaced. Both bags have Cordura ears. I prefer the smaller ears. Less chance of side torque on the butt stock.Getting ready to order a new rear bag. What do you prefer for ear height.
