If you need to change phones, just make sure you get another Samsung and do a device-to-device download of apps. Not only the app but all your ballistic info will come with it. I know. I switched from an S9 to an A54 and works like a charm.
No special app...app comes resident on Samsung phones. It's called Smart Switch and can be done either by proximity or with a short cable interface (faster with the cable). Check the resident apps on your phone, Worked like a charm for me. I agree with never wanting to let the app go. I was not sure it would transfer until I did mine.

Good that there is a backup plan, but it sure would suck to have to re-enter all my data and loads and start over!
Rumor at the time of initial sanctioning was that the app was being used by the Russians in Ukraine. Rather doubt that, but Igor is Russian and got tarred with the same brush as those actively involved with the war. Over reaction to a political issue.
i got an old phone to store it on when i get a new phone i use an app called share it put in on both phones the swap it over it installs like a new app. you will need to up load your bullet profile to the new app.
See post #8. When I switched phones all data structure, software and data transferred by using the Smart Switch app on my phones. No worries - no loss. And yes, I use DropBox to backup my entered data to sync between my laptop and phone.
