Scott Parker Scale

M-5's are great and fast once you learn some of the tricks and tweaks.
I picked one up a little while back and have been pleased. First thing I did was adjust the weight under the pan so it is zeroed when perfectly level. Before that it wasn't perfect when I verified with check weights at higher weights.
What other suggestions do you have?

If you are just trying to duplicate a weight, instead of determine the weight of something, then zero your scale with checkweights closest to your charge. (Smallest weight should be .5 gr.)
Ie one of my charges is 39.5gr so i put 39.5gr of checkweights in pan and zero scale with vertical adjustment.
None of these scales are going to read dead nuts on a range of weights. I first adjust weights in the panholder to read zero empty and level.
