Maven Riflescope?

I ordered a Maven last year , great scope but the reticle was so thick at full power I couldn't do it. Returned it with no hassle. Ya I knew it was FFP but dam it was huge.

Which model and power? Thanks

Any new info from you guys about the Mavens? Particularly the RS1.2? It seems to fit the bill for a lightweight-ish FFP for a walking around hunting/ shooting rifle, or dabbling in NRL Hunter at 12# without having to move to a CF barrel. The reticles look to be the best I've seen, albeit only from online pics and readings.

I've read the Rockslide stuff. It's positive, but they have different standards for acceptable accuracy and testing methods.

I like my 6-24 zeiss v4. Illuminated and 24 ounces. Its what i put on my long range “hunting” rig.

Well, a buddy and I both took the plunge on the mil 1.2. The company Maven did as expected with order confirmation, quick delivery, etc. Scopes seem nice, but neither of us have any rounds down range with them. Plan is to get familiar and shoot a hunter match with them in May. We shall see.

I have an rs 1.2 on a 223. I do like it and it should work fine on a hunting rifle used out to 600 yards. I can't speak about the durability because I have less than 100 shots on it. I have shot a deer using it but it was right at 100 yards. I don't know what a deer would look like at 600 through the scope.

Took my 1.2 to the range today. I really like it so far. Nice fat reticle, adjusted crisply, turrets and zero stop worked as they should. That said, I could probably be as happy with the new Tract Eagleman 2.5-15x44 and have $400+ in my pocket. Missed it by a few weeks.

The tracts are really heavy for a hunting scope imo
