Looking for a savage prefit large or small shank 26 inch heavy bull barrel 6 creed either 1-9 or 1-10 twist for 70 to 88 grain varmint bullets.

12 twist is to slow for berger 88 fb high bc varmint

plus it looks like your 6 creed reamer wont work for a berger 88 fb. your sammi spec 6 creed reamer is based around a 108 eld-m and their will be to much freebore for the shorter berger 88 i wanna shoot

the 88 Berger requires more freebore than the 100 something bullets. The Sammi freebore would be perfect for the Berger 88.

And the 88 with its long bearing surface shoots very well from an eight twist from my testing.

your 183 freebore is to much for the berger 88 flatbase varmint. if you loaded the bullet say 10 thousands off jam your bullet would be almost and the end of the neck.
