WANTED 6BR Brass that you thought no one would ever buy.

I also should add... that given the totally outside of the box type of request I posted, it should not have been hard to determine I knew exactly what I wanted.

These might have 15 loads on them or maybe 20 I don’t recall or feel like digging out my notes. If you want them send me a pm with your contact information and I’ll get them in the mail this week.

Still looking....

It's not a benchrest rifle
I'm not competing
It's for my own cast bullet testing. I'm not going to waste virgin lapua on this project.
Read your first post "target match", not trash junk?

If your not wanting it to work, ok trash junk cheap AL fit. But if your expecting to know if it will shoot, cheap brass will go bang, but so will your results for accuracy and consistency.

You have sound advice, your results will be worthless with junk! Meaning a waste of money on good components, PERIOD. Plus it's hard to believe what you want it for, but if indead it is target match, and not just to see if it will go bang. With good brass, cast loads that work will not be hard on brass, and will last indefinitely.

Take the advice from RoyinNC, or if you really don't want good advice, don't look for answers on Shooters Forum, most here are not keyboard cowboys, and give sound advice.

The wise thing to do is learn from them. Good Luck.

Please Re-Read the post about bullet casting.

Okay. I guess you all get to pick how I do things.

Hello, Sir.
To be fair, you asked 'why', and I tried to answer your question based upon my experience of trying to use 'used' 6 BR brass.
I had no intention of telling you what to do or not to do. I just wanted help answer your question as to 'why'.

If you want some used 6 BR brass. Pay for the priority mail small box fee (around $12.00) and I will send you some. I don't know if this qualifies as 'cheap' since I am offering it to you as free.

I really appreciate the very generous offer, but I think I am all set for now. A couple of people PMed me and I should have just about what I need.

Thank you so much for the offer. I think I should be set for now. really appreciate it!

Oh! I see! You didn't really mean new build for Match/Target, as you originally posted? Good Luck!
It is a match/target build, just both for metallic and cast bullets. If I had my druthers (is that still a term?) I would go full metallic jacket build for the 6BR and then build a 30BR with a slow twist barrel and a chamber that matched the profile of my preferred cast bullet. However, being newly divorced, and paying out the nose for purposefully miscalculated alimony, I don't have the funds for the dream cast bullet rig. some day!
